Day 1: VIENTIANE - ARRIVAL
Note: Most Museums in Vientiane close on weekends.
Let state "Sabbai Dee" (Hello) while arriving in Laos, you are going to receive warm smile in the friendly locals. Hugging a bend of the Mekong River, Vientiane is a quaint and easygoing place compared to other frenetic capitals in the place. Talk with your Laos Excursions guide after arrival. Trip about metropolis to enjoy French colonial architecture is located next to gilded wats or temples. Spend your day browsing to the city's significant historic sites such as the peaceful Wat Sisaket, the most well-known temple that survived the Siamese war of 1828 and boasting over eight, 000 Buddha statues; Wat Ho Prakeo, the past home of the Bright green Buddha statue that today contains a collection of Buddha statues, antiques and artifacts found in and around Vientiane; That Lenggang Stupa, the symbol of Laos and whose initial, smaller stupa contain an item of the chest bone of Buddha; and the Patouxay (the Arc de Triomphe), built recently in commemoration of people who died during the wars of the past and offering a sweeping view of the location from the top.

Day 2: VIENTIANE
Start one-hour drive southeast of the location to Juggernaut Park built in 1958, a fanciful sculpture back garden packed with Buddhist and strict images appear to get historic. Of particular fascination can be described as giant concrete pumpkin, its three-level interior which represents hell, earth and paradise. The statues are produced of cement and they are lavish, and sometimes bizarre, in design. Return to the hotel to relax prior to visiting the weaving home-studio of Mrs. Carol Cassidy, an American textiles professional who arrived in Vientiane in 1989 as component of an Un job to promote traditional weaving cloth, and who since create the Lao Textiles Facilities. The Studio today features over 40 weavers creating naturally dyed and sewn silk pieces reflecting classic Lao designs. End your day watching sunset on the bank of Mekong Water.
